State Livestock Breeding & Training Centre is a Government of Karnataka Organisation under the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services located at Hesaraghatta in Bengaluru City.

SLBTC has the responsibility to impart training in Dairying, Fodder Production, improved Animal Husbandry practices, producing Frozen Semen from highly pedigreed bulls, supply improved fodder seeds and rootslips to farmers, maintaining pure breed dairy animals, carrying out Embryo Transfer Technology Programme and Internship Training for Undergraduate Veterinary Doctors.

Frozen Semen Production unit at SLBTC is ISO 9001:2008 Certified for maintaining industry standard bulls, infrastructure, practices and production of superior quality & quantity of frozen semen.
